Nile Lundgren and 7:74 Club Founder, Chris Schembra at the 1 Year Anniversary Dinner at We Work, NYC
Since 2015, the 7:47 Club has hosted 150 dinners, served over 70 companies and sparked over 300,000 relationships.
Since moving to New York City, I've always loved connecting people. It's so easy to do that now a days, but it's actually even harder that before the social-media age and we feel more disconnected than ever: Digital lives not meeting the needs of an analog world. In an effort to build a more connected world, we have created a safe space for complete strangers to find the comfort of family.
The 7:47 Club changed my life. When I met Chris Schembra, I was in a bad place and through his dinners I was able to make serious changes in my life. The 7:47 Club is more than just a dinner; it's a room full of strangers you’ll find authenticity, empathy, vulnerability, and safety from. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. There is a real strength between weak ties and the 7:47 Club and Chris Schembra bring out the best qualities in people.
The 747 Club is not a social club. We are an inclusive, collaborative community of people offering consciousness awakening events and experiences. Collectively we value passion over position, eco over ego. Whether it's 16 person dinners or 250 person events, we foster intellectual intimacy, spark innovative ideas, and awaken inner consciousness. This is done by keeping our dinners simple, homemade, served on paper bowls and the menu consistent. 6:30 pm cocktails begin, 8:00 pm dinner is served, specifically at 7:47 pm, something interesting occurs. Through our night, we empower the attendees to be part of the process; blending socio drama, team building, leadership, artistic performance, food, and community.
This is a serious movement. It's changed my life. Want it to change yours?
